Inside view of a food distribution depot we recently erected in West Wales. The customer's requirement was for a 1180" long by 626" wide building with end office block and loading canopy along one side. Insulated panelled doors were provided to permit simultaneous loading/unloading of six vehicles. The building, a steel framed portal, is clad externally in insulated plastic profiled sheets and internally with white coated sheets, providing a clean light environment.

External view of a blast freezer extension provided at short notice to cover a freezer unit. Special provisions were incorporated in the form of a raised steel floor tray with ventilated gap under to prevent frost heave in the substructure. Vermin proof louvre panels and louvred doors were incorporated to provide air circulation to the plant manufacturer's requirements Special provisions were incorporated in the design of this building to support a 4.5 Tonne condenser and pressure vessel above roof level. The building was designed to cope with the stresses and wind loadings, with the roof plant seated on a purpose made galvanised steel chassis. Careful planning with the plant engineers was essential to ensure continuity of the installation programme.

A 3.6M high security compound round a sensitive plant and control panel area. The purpose made panels with a galvanised mesh inf ill were fabricated in our works in such a manner that site erection time was reduced to a few hours. Security fencing and gates as purpose made solutions have been undertaken at various locations.
